End of 2025 Message

Americans have endured a wild political ride in 2025. It has been a tumultuous journey filled with intrigue, disruption, chaos, and violence. The return of Donald Trump to the White House has ushered in unprecedented levels of political drama-- the Epstein files, controversial immigration policies, ICE overreaches, Charlie Kirk assassination, federal government shutdown, and ongoing challenges. We're facing profound challenges that threaten the very essence of our Republic.
As we approach the end of 2025, it's essential to reassess the state of our democracy, which is constantly under siege from various forces within the Trump administration. We're faced with the proliferation of hate-filled rhetoric, the gradual erosion of civil discourse, and the looming threat of authoritarianism. these challenges are compounded by growing economic uncertainty, increasing social unrest, and a rising sense of disillusionment among American voters.
Yet, within this crisis lies an opportunity for effective leadership that can recalibrate our national purpose. Our political leaders have the opportunity to guide our nation towards progress and stability. The call for ethical courage resonates now more than ever, as we must summon the resolve to confront the divisive narratives that are fracturing our polity. Effective political leadership in this context requires a recommitment to inclusivity, transparency, and accountability-- all the values anathema to the declining MAGA movement and failed Republican Party.
2025 an an American Inflection Point
Our nation stands at an inflection point. We're facing a multitude of political, economic, social, and moral crises that threaten the substance of American democracy. The political climate at the end of 2025 is marked by significant challenges. Recent polls indicate that President Trump's approval rating is below 40%, reflecting an increasingly acrimonious relationship between the administration and the electorate. Many voters are starting to express doubt in Trump's ability to manage the economy, and concerns about affordability promises to dominate our politics into the 2026 midterms. The ending of the longest government shutdown in history saw more than half of the electorate believing that Republicans emerged victorious from the standoff, despite a majority also acknowledging the detrimental impact of the shutdown on the American people.
As we approach 2026, let us embrace the opportunity to rethink and revitalize our commitment to realizing America's highest ideals. This isn't merely a plea for civility in political discourse, but a profound invitation to engage in the ongoing project of building a more equitable and just society. Americans must summon the moral courage to confront the many political challenges before us-- to reject voices of hatred like Nick Fuentes, J.D. Vance, and many others-- and to work collectively towards a more compassionate and prosperous nation.
Let us deeply reflect on the values that unite us as Americans. Let us honor the sacrifices of those who came before us and dedicate ourselves to the noble purpose of ensuring that American democracy remains vibrant and returns to inclusivity. The path forward promises to be fraught with challenges, but together, we can renew our civic values and reaffirm our dedication to these ideals that have defined our great nation in the past.
